The 2010 Pro Bowl game was played disappointedly one week before the Super Bowl. And as expected, the game was in lack of super stars, making it even more senseless to watch such a game which was supposed to be all-star but counts nothing anyway.
One week before the Super Bowl, the best players of the best teams of this season need rest to prepare for the most important game of the league. And among them there are previously selected all-star teams’ members. Some other players from other teams were picked to replace them, but other stars not members of the Super Bowl teams took injuries excuses to get out of the now all-stupid game. No Brett Favre, no Peyton Manning, no Drew Brees, no Philip Rivers.
Matt Schaub of the Houston Texans led the AFC team to a 41-34 win over the NFC team that was led by Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. So what? Anything matters? There are still fans in various NFL jerseys watching the game, but they did care much about the result. They were there mostly to watch the stars playing together, and they disappointedly found that there were much fewer stars as they had expected.
